| About Instructor: | He holds three post-graduate degrees (MA in Psychology, MA in Education, and MA in Political Science). After completing M. Phil, he received a Doctoral degree in Educational Counseling Psychology from Annamalai University. He had his undergraduate in Mathematics (B.Sc.). He has received a Diploma in Pharmacy from Madurai Medical College and registered as a Pharmacist. His research areas include Teacher education, Undergraduate occupational preferences, decision-making, and mental health in Educational Counselling Psychology, Career Counselling, Integral Education, Yoga, and Indian Psychology. He possesses rich experience of over 30 years in teaching and coordinating the Orientation, Refresher Courses, and other programs related to teachers' professional development in higher education. He was also designated to initiate a new clinical psychology department and educational technology at Pondicherry University Karaikal Centre. He won several National and International awards for his excellent contribution in the field of Education and Psychology. He has delivered several lectures at various UGC-HRDCs, University departments, training Institutes, and Indian Statistical Institutes in Creative Teaching, Personality Development, Learning Styles, Behavioral Decision Making, Guidance and Counseling, Student Counseling, Effective Teaching Skills, Thinking styles, and Emotional intelligence.
