An ideal combination of people’s person and a good administrator, Dr Sachin Surve is the Coordinator at the Faculty Development Centre, UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. He is a renowned, certified Soft Skills Trainer with certifications from DOPT, Government of India, European International University, France, Centre for Training & Professional Development, Asian College of Teachers and Harvard University, UK.
While handling various academic as well as administrative position in the prestigious Savitribai Phule Pune University, he has developed participative leadership at his workplace. His innovative and enthusiastic nature leads him to design, deliver and coordinate innovating training programs for diverse target groups representing different segments of society.
He has been instrumental in designing and successfully implementing online Refresher Courses on Leadership and Governance in higher education (Level I and II) under ARPIT program for SWAYAM of MHRD, Government of India. Dr. Sachin has successfully designed and coordinated MOOCs on Negotiation Skills and Conflict Management (2 credit course) for CEC and SWAYAM. SWAYAM and CEC has also approved another MOOC on Personality Development.
He strives to bring changes in the system by working on the mindset and overall behavior of the people in the society.
He has so far published 2 books, 7 research papers and 4 chapters.
