Introduction: The UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (formerly known as UGC-HRDC), Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University have organized a Refresher Course on National Education Policy and Its Implementation from 12/02/2024 to 24/02/2024 for all the faculty members of College and University including Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors which have been held in online mode. This National Education Policy 2020 is the first education policy of the 21st century and aims to address the many growing developmental imperatives of our country. This Policy proposes the revision and revamping of all aspects of the education structure including its regulation and governance ,to create a new system that is aligned with the aspirational goals of 21st century education, including SDG4, while building upon India’s traditions and value systems. This course will be considered for fulfilment of the requirements as laid down by CAS of UGC.
Objectives: 1. To make education universally accessible from primary to secondary level by the year 2030. 2. To build a relationship between the learner and society at large. 3. To promote multilingualism and cultural diversity 4. To create flexible and inclusive education system 5. To integrate technology into education 6. To strengthen teacher training development 7. To promote research and innovation in education
