| Introduction: | A two-week Refresher Course in IKS-Based Chemistry and Metallurgy Chemistry teachers was organized by the UGC-Malviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati from 12-o1-2024 to 25-01-2024 on a Theme entitled, “IKS-Based Chemistry and Metallurgy ” which was inaugurated on 12th January virtually. The aim of this Refresher course was to make aware to the current teachers of chemistry about the ancient chemical methods of chemistry and metallurgy. For conducting this course various resource persons have the knowledge of Indian Knowledge based chemistry were invited to deliver the lectures. They emphasizes on the need for chemistry teachers to see the ancient methods used in chemistry for various purposes and update their knowledge so that they could share among the students, they also encouraged chemistry faculty to do innovative research for the welfare of society by sharing the application of technology for a better understanding of the subject. |
