Introduction: Nowadays there is a growing trend towards integrating MOOC'S, E-CONTENT DEVELOPMENT & OPEN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES into Teaching and Learning process. Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) and e-content generation contribute significantly towards achieving creative thinking and innovative learning among the students and at the same time help the faculty to update their knowledge and skills through such Refresher Courses. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are gaining traction all over the world to provide unlimited participation and open access to quality education via web. New technologies offers to teachers and students a wide new range of possibilities and tools, but not without challenges. The main aim behind conducting this course is to sensitize the teaching faculty of colleges and universities about the advantages of e-learning and to encourage them towards planning, designing, developing, delivering and implementing MOOCs and other Open Educational Resources (OER)so that they can keep pace with digital revolution of the twenty first century in which technology is blended with traditional teaching-learning pedagogies for better learning outcomes. Various eminent resource persons have delivered lectures on various current topics.
Objectives: 1. The primary objective of this Refresher Course is to introduce MOOCs an online learning courses that a student accesses through the internet and the open source educational resources to the University and College teachers. 2. To make the student enable of how a lecture can be restructured into short, self-contained segments with high interactivity. 3. To train the participants to use MOOC as an adjunct to face-to-face teaching and to teach in a fully online or distance learning context and to get a feel for how their courses could be enhanced using Moodle-MOOC platform; 4. To understand the process of planning, designing and implementing online courses in line with SWAYAM MOOC requirements 5. To create better and active communication and collaboration with the students and to design and manage learning assessment using Moodle MOOC Platform

Weekly Plan: There is a breakdown of sessions in two weeks (Excluding Sunday). The course started from 03/07/2023 and end on 15/07/2023. In the first week there were online lectures conducted by eminent resource persons on various subjects like Google Tools & Google Classroom ,Introduction to 4-Quadrant E-Content and MOOCs, Tools for Video Creation and Editing, MOODLE: A Learning Management System , SWAYAM and MOOC, E-Resources, Website Building Using Google Sites , Place of ODL in NEP 2020 and Learner Centric Educational Video Creation, NPTEL Courses , Development of Creative Website using Drupal, Academic Reforms in the Light of NEP 2020 Also hands on assignment were given to the participants In the second week there were online lectures conducted by eminent resource persons on various subjects like Regional Language Translation of National Courses, Open Education Resources & AI Tools for E-Content Development, Indian Knowledge System , Introduction to SWAYAM & MOOCs, Video Editing Tools for E-Content Creation, ICT in Higher Education towards the, Digitization: Opportunities and Challenges, E-Contenet Development , LaTeX & Cutting Edge AI based Web Technology – ChatGPT, e-Learning Using LMS & MOOCs. Also seminar presentation was conducted online, MCQ Test conducted, MRPP submission was taken.
