Introduction: This course, designed with a wide range of biological science backgrounds in mind, offers a comprehensive exploration from the fundamental (nano) level to the ecological (macro) level. Participants investigate into diverse fields encompassing plant sciences, nanotechnology, agriculture, molecular biology, and even metagenomics. The course content is meticulously structured, progressing from foundational concepts to a deeper understanding of each subject area. To keep participants engaged, lectures are not delivered in a strictly sequential order. Most importantly, the course adopts a practical, application-oriented approach, ensuring it covers nearly every facet of biological science.
Objectives: 1. Deepen understanding of environmental threats like climate change and plastic pollution. 2. Explore applications of biotechnology in drug discovery, medicine, and agriculture. 3. Foster ethical and responsible research practices. 4. Bridge the gap between scientific research and real-world applications. 5. Update knowledge on emerging fields like synthetic biology and nanotechnology.
Start Date: 01. 09. 2023
