| Introduction: | The Faculty Induction Programmes and Refresher Courses are meant for in-service teachers eligible as per UGC-HRDC rules, regulations and guidelines. |
| Objectives: | Faculty Induction Programmes and Refresher Courses Faculty members working in universities and colleges that are included under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, even though they may not yet be fit under Section 12 (B), may be invited to participate in the orientation and refresher courses. The teachers of colleges that do not yet come within the purview of Section 2(f), but have been affiliated to a university for at least five years, will be permitted to participate in the courses. The temporary/ contract teachers, teaching for at least two academic sessions in an institution affiliated to a UGC recognized University for at least two years (UGC circular No.F.271(i)/2002(ASC) dated 18.2.2005) |
