| Introduction: | The course intends to equip teachers in curriculum development through the improvement of their own understanding by means of lectures and experimental workshops in all phases of curriculum development. The course will contribute both to the enhancement of the professional expertise of the teacher and to an increased knowledge about outcome based education. It will accustom teachers to teamwork and to the appreciation of individual and group contributions and will provide intense, meaningful, and continuous experience in the design, development, mapping, and computation of attainment gap of the outcome-based curriculum. |
| Objectives: | At the end of the course, the participants will be able to: • enhance awareness upon ethical and unethical issues relating to curriculum development. • conceptualize the nuances of outcome-based curriculum design and mapping. • enhance their expertise in utilization of various digital tools in context of content development and implementation. • contribute to the development of outcome-based curriculum in their respective Universities. • evaluate the implemented curriculum by computing the attainment gap. |

| About Instructor: | Dr. Divya C. Senan is an accomplished teacher educator at Department of Education, University of Kerala, successful at teaching graduate, postgraduate and doctoral students and having nineteen years of professional and teaching experience. She has expertise in the development and implementation of outcome-based curriculum, educational technology tools and constructive curricular applications in the higher education classrooms. she is a core committee member in developing National Professional Standards for Teachers, NEP 2020, an expert in the preparation of guidelines for implementation of ITEP at Multi-disciplinary Institutions by NCERT and, a member in planning and reviewing the PRAGYATA guidelines for Digital Education by Govt. of India. |
