Introduction: In present era, the governance is not confined to issue command orders or instructions, and to receive compliance rather it is to secure transparency, accountability and the active participation of the stakeholders. Keeping in view, a workshop was organized on 03-10-2022. Total 175 teacher participants (101 male and 74 female) of different colleges and institutions of Kurukshetra University representing diverse disciplines participated and successfully completed the course.
Objectives: The objective of the workshop was to provide a first hand information among the participants regarding substantial and practical aspects of democratic ideals. And also to apprise about appropriate models of good governance.

About Instructor: Dr. Vikas Sabharwal is presently working as Associate Professor and Head, Department of Political Science, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. He has 17 years teaching experience. He has published a number of research papers in reputed journals and has presented research papers at various national and internation seminars/conferences.
Weekly Plan: It was a one day Workshop consisting 04 sessions (each of 90 minutes).
