Introduction: |
A subject specific refresher course on the title :- Entrepreneurship Development for Commerce/Management/Tourism/Economics/Mass Communication and Media Technology was organized from 30.01.2023 to 12.02.2023 by securing the participation of 23 teacher participants. The programme was online mode of delivery. Being subject specific the participation was from Economics, Commerce, Management, Toursim and Mass Communication disciplines but many topics of pragmatic nature were taken up for the benefit of particpiants such as Stress Management, Mental Health and Values generation, etc. |
Objectives: |
The objective of the course were:-
1. To encourage teachers to develop innovative teaching methodologies that promote a holistic understanding of business sustainability within the framework of Indian ethos.
2.To equip teachers with knowledge and resources to incorporate Indian ethos and sustainability concepts into their teaching practices.
3. To facilitate discussions and collaborative learning among teachers, enabling them to share best practices and insights related to Indian ethos and business sustainability.
4. To provide teachers with research-based insights into the economic, social, and environmental implications of business sustainability from an Indian perspective.
5. To enable teachers to critically examine and evaluate existing business models and practices in light of Indian ethos and sustainability principles.
6. To inspire teachers to engage in ongoing professional development and research on Indian ethos and business sustainability, contributing to the broader educational community.
7. To empower teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to guide and mentor students in understanding and implementing sustainable business practices grounded in Indian ethos.
8. To analyze case studies and examples of successful Indian businesses that have integrated ethical values and sustainability into their operations.

About Instructor: |
Dr. Tejinder Sharma is presently working as Professor in Kurukshetra University in Department of Commerce. His research interests are Corporate Social Responsibility, International Business and Marketing. fifty research papers of his work were published in the leading National and International Journals. He has completed 01 research project and guided many doctoral students as well. He is a widely travel academician over the globe. He has been member of University Court, Academic Council, Chancellor Nominee, Selection Committees, DRS Committee, Board of School, Boards of Studies of several reputed universities. A prolific speaker, he has been invited in several reputed conferences, seminars, workshops and invited lectures in several colleges and universities of the country. |

Certification: |
In the concluding week of the Programme, taking into account the assessment of the participants on the basis of Multiple Choice Objective Test and other evaluations. The grades are given to the participants as per UGC format i.e. A+, A, B, C and F for securing marks 85%, 70%, 60%, 50% and below 49% respectively. The above certification was based on total 100 marks. The grades are indicated on the certificates to the teacher-participants. |

The Assessment of the participants was based on Overall Responses, Seminars, Projects/Surveys, ICT based teaching/module, Micro-teaching participation and multiple choice objective test of 20 marks each. |
